LUCKNOW. As for the elections of 2022 before the election, Prime Minister Narendra Modi placed slogans of ” UP+YOGI , BAHUT HAI UPYOGI” , ” SOCH IMAANDAAR , KAAM DAMDAAR EK BAAR PHIR YOGI SARKAR” , ” YOGI HAI TOH YAKIN HAI” which created a buzz on social media.
After completing the fifth phase of elections. BJP have started its Campaign for sixth and seventh phase of elections. it is well know that BJP have expected voter for there party not only in gorakhpur but also for the surrounding areas , because Yogi Aditya Nath have stronghold in gorakhpur . HERE THE QUESTION ARISED , WHY YOGI REMOVED FROM THE POSTERS AND BANNERS IN GORAKHPUR ?
For the campaigning of BJP , The posters and holding have came from central which we can see all around Uttar Pradesh . But in gorakhpur , Those new posters and holdings do not have the picture of Yogi Aditya Nath that means the picture of yogi aditya nath has been removed from the posters and banners.
As some people have said that because yogi aditya nath himself is the candidate of gorakhpur for the elections of 2022 , so the cost for campaigning will be add to his election expenses, that’s why his picture is been removed from the posters but as the member of the party , expenses of all the material used for campaigning is the responsibility of the party.
Now polling is going to be held for the sixth and seventh phases (March 3 and March 7). Of the 62 seats falling in gorakhpur region, the BJP till now have announced 37 candidates . Out of 37 , 43% candidates are new faces . So far, in the 295 names announced , the BJP has dropped 56 sitting MLAs.
As per The Indian Express , A gorakhpur BJP leader said adityanath’s say holds sway in the region. ” He is the CM and face of the party for the polls. the situation was different in 2017. When he was only MP and has limited say in organisational affairs. Then , maurya, who was the UP BJP Chief , and state general secretary (organisational ) Sunil bansal was the key decision-maker from the state unit’s side , including in gorakhpur.”
Senior journalist Utkarsh Sinha said ” We can see when BJP have started its campaigning for elections . the slogan given was ‘ SOCH IMAANDAAR , KAAM DAMDAAR, EK BAAR PHIR YOGI SARKAR’ . But after completing the fourth and fifth phase of election we can see the modified slogan that is ‘ SOCH IMAANDAR , KAAM DAMDAAR EK BAAR PHIR BHAJPA SARKAR ‘ now we can see that how slogans have been changed from ‘YOGI SARKAR’ to ‘ BHAJPA SARKAR’. Not only from the slogans but also from the posters and banners came from central do not have the picture of Yogi Aditya Nath.”
He said that BJP is changing its strategy as after the polling of the fourth and fifth phase and to change the strategy , Now have become an compulsion for BJP . By given an citation , he told that from the starting BJP for Uttar Pradesh election is presenting Yogi as the face of the party. As Akhilesh yadav, whenever hit the opposite party BJP , he haven’t questioned modi anywhere. he questioned and targeted yogi as he was face of BJP in this elections.
Journalist Utkarsh Sinha also point out that before when PM Narendra Modi , while interaction with the public in Uttar Pradesh , he in his speech by saying ‘ MODI HAI’ has represented himself. NOW, here we can understand the changing planning of BJP that how modi is presenting himself as the face of the party for UP elections then the removal of yogi’s name from the slogans and now the posters and banners in Gorakhpur which do not have yogi’s picture.
