Former Uttar Pradesh chief minister and Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav has said that he wont get the covid jab as he didn’t had trust upon a ‘BJP vaccine.’
“Mein to nahi lagwaunga vaccine. Maine to apni baat keh di. Aur wo bhi BJP lagayegi uska bharoasa karunga mein. Are jao bhai” (I wont take the vaccine.
I have said my thought. And that too a vaccine by the BJP, I wont trust that. Brother, change topic), said Akhilesh Yadav at a press conference when asked to comment upon the dry run going on in the country, on Saturday.
Quick to come was BJP’s response. Deputy chief minister Keshav Prasad Maurya said, “What former chief minister Akhilesh Yadav has said is a disrespect to scientists and doctors who are working hard for the vaccine. I expect Akhilesh to apologise.”
Maurya said, a person who has himself been on the chief minister’s chair should think 1000 times before making such a public statement.
The dry run of covid vaccine is going on in the country and in Lucknow also six places are there. Doctors conducted dry run of vaccine to check anomalies before actual vaccination begins.
