A woman who worked for months as a doctor is now under investigation for flaw in document. IN Australia she worked for about 8-months pretending to be a doctor.
The 27-year-old woman worked at Sydney’s Bankstown-Lidcombe Hospital. But the hospital authorities said they discovered that she was not registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), which accredits medical staff in the country.
The woman under investigation forged documents to show she had passed exams but actually the quack had not cleared exams and instead of reappearing in the exams she submitted forged document and submitted them to get a job.
Registration is mandatory for doctors to practice and treat patients. New South Wales Police are now investigating.
A hospital spokeswoman said in a statement that an employee who started work in January this year was immediately removed from duties when the authorities discovered that they were not accredited. Almost in all countries registration of medical practitioners is mandatory before they start practice. In India too, registration with the state medical faculty is mandatory.

Hospital added that this person was fully supervised throughout their time working at the hospital in south-west Sydney. Bankstown-Lidcombe hospital has reported the case to AHPRA and is also conducting an internal investigation.
According to reports the woman had failed her final exams and faked documents to get the job as a junior doctor. She could now face fraud offences.
