In a significant achievement of the Yogi government, the people of Uttar Pradesh are now experiencing the convenience of air travel, with their dreams of flying becoming a reality. Prime Minister Modi recently inaugurated new airports in five districts of UP on March 10. Remarkably, within just two days of their inauguration, all flights from these airports are operating at full capacity.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath expressed his delight at this swift and successful implementation. Uttar Pradesh stands out as the state with the highest number of active airports in the country, and these five new additions in Azamgarh, Shravasti, Chitrakoot, Aligarh, and Moradabad are proving to be a milestone.
CM Yogi, while mentioning the air connectivity of Uttar Pradesh in the Invest UP program on Tuesday, also mentioned the air traffic at the new airports.
He said that in terms of connectivity, today the maximum number of airports in the country are operating from Uttar Pradesh. Air services have already commenced at the newly inaugurated airports since Monday, and the flights are running at full capacity.
The flights that have been started from these new airports so far include flights from Lucknow to Azamgarh, Azamgarh to Lucknow, Lucknow to Aligarh, Aligarh to Lucknow, Lucknow to Shravasti, Shravasti to Lucknow, Lucknow to Chitrakoot and Chitrakoot to Lucknow.
All these flights are now departing with scheduled passengers. Observing the excitement of the people for air travel in these districts, the aviation industry is also encouraged, and there is a possibility of introducing more new flights from these districts based on demand soon.
