Trump visit to start in few hours

US president Donald Trump, his wife and first lady Melania Trump, daughter Ivanka and son-in-law Jared Kushner will arrive in India in a few hours from now and their journey will start from Ahemdabad’s Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel international airport where they shall land at around 11.40 am.

The visit being seen by many lenses is scheduled for two-days in which, road show, Namaste Trump, bilateral dialogues and trade deals are expected to make it memorable for the two nations. The Trump’s will also visit Sabarmati Ashram that has earlier been visited by several world leaders including Chinese president Xi Jinping and Japanese prime minister Shinzo Abe.

The Namaste Trump is an event on similar notes as that ‘Howdy Modi’ in Houston in September 2019. The itinerary for Trump’s about 36-hours stay in India goes as:

11.40 am: Trump family to land at Ahemdabad international airport

12.15 am: They visit Sabarmati Ashram in Ahemdabad

13.05 pm: They will attend the Namaste Trump event Motera Stadium

15.30 pm: The Trump’s will leave for Agra where they are scheduled to visit Taj Mahal, the next day

16.45 pm: They shall arrive at the Air Force station in Agra

17.15 pm: The Trump’s will visit the Taj Mahal in Agra

18.45 pm: They will board the plane for New Delhi

19.30 pm: They are scheduled to land at Air Force station in Palam

February 25, 2020

10.00 am: The Trump’s will get a ceremonial reception at the Rashtrapati Bhavan

10.30 am: They shall visit Rajghat to lay wreath at Mahatma Gandhi Samadhi

11.00 am: The meeting is scheduled for Prime Minister

12.40 pm: A joint press statement is likely to come at the lawns of the Hyderabad House

19.30 pm: Meeting with the President of India at Rashtrapati Bhavan

22.00 pm: The Trump’s will board the plane and leave for US
