Patience has different levels among individuals and is measured with the level of tolerance. When it becomes intolerable patience gives way to revolt. This aptly describes the situation in the USA, where perhaps for the first time the president had to hide in a bunker overnight to save life.
People in a superpower country are brewing with anger and have pulled down the status of Columbus, who founded America. The 10-feet bronze status came down within minutes.
America is reeling under black Vs white contest and black population that was suppressed since ages has revolted after the killing of George Floyd. And this has spread across America. People are raising slogans against the president and have also protested outside the white house.
Americans are not angry with just the government but the entire system. The name of George Floyd has come up as a tool where a white policeman killed a black man. This death has woken up the black people who were in slumber since ages. On the one hand people are struggling with coronavirus and on the other hand racism is troubling them.
People are angry and say coronavirus is increasing dead bodies and the government is busy in its politics. Donald Trump has to face elections. The president is eager to take the chair once again during coronavirus pandemic and he is so eager that he said supreme commander of Iran Kasim Sulemani a terrorist.
The Iran reply has put Trump a short face and the remaining was done by China.

He should have announced that the death won’t go waste and the guilty will be punished with a strong case but Trump wanted to patience of his people. And the result is entire people community is against Trump.
Angry mob pulled down status of Columbus at the St Paul. Columbus had found America while on a search for India and had called them Indians. Americans believe Europeans community has organised public massacre of black people and kept them slaves and Columbus is responsible for it.
On the one hand the Columbus status was being pulled down while on the other hand a video went viral showing people beating up Donald Trump statue. Though the video is four years old but the present situation makes it more relevant. It shows people wont be honoured for ever if they have crossed limits and has drawn lines between people.
Who ever has drawn lines between people has lost popularity. Saddam Hussain had differentiated between Shia and Sunni and though he ruled had to take shelter in a bunker and people pulled down all his statues.
When they could not pull down on at the Firdaus Crossing some of them climbed up and broke it with hammer.
In Tripura, after the defeat of the CPM, the statue of Soviet leader Vladimir Lenin at the Centre of College Square in Belonia with the help of a JCB. The forces behind were those who wanted the Leftists should not come again to power. Lenin was against this thought hence opponents could not tolerate him.
Robert Clive who was instrumental to bring in East India Company in to India had people in London only who got together to bring down his statue. Clive was the first governor in India and the petition to bring down his statue in London was signed by 1700 people. Lakhs died in India then how could putting up statue of Clive be justified in London. Even the Britishers are now thinking that cruel should not be honoured.
Statues are symbol of honour. Gods and deities are honoured via statues. People who become leaders are also remembered via statues for honour. But those who were cruel and got their statues made have to be pulled down.
