Tara Sutaria has begun shooting for Ek Villain Returns and has shared bits about it on social media. Ek Villain Returns is the sequel of Mohit Suri’s 2014 film, Ek Villain.
The film is Mohit Suri’s directorial venture. Tara Sutaria announced the same with a BTS photo on social media.
While the first part starred Sidharth Malhotra, Shraddha Kapoor and Riteish Deshmukh, in Ek Villain Returns, Tara Sutaria, John Abraham, Arjun Kapoor and Disha Patani will be seen in pivotal roles. Arjun Kapoor has replaced Aditya Roy Kapur in Mohit Suri’s Ek Villain Returns. The film also stars John Abraham, Disha Patani and Tara Sutaria.
Ek Villain Returns, the sequel to Mohit Suri’s 2014 film, is scheduled to hit theatres on February 11, 2022. While earlier it was reported that the film will see John Abraham and Aditya Roy Kapur share screen space, it is now announced that Arjun Kapoor has replaced the latter. Tara Sutaria and Disha Patani will be seen playing female leads. The film will feature John and Arjun as villains, not heroes.
Tara Sutaria recently clocked in six million followers on Instagram and is pretty active on social media. She often shares updates of her whereabouts with her fans and followers. Taking to her official social media handle, the actress posted a BTS pic from the sets.
In the picture, director Mohit Suri can be seen with a mask on. In front of him is a clapperboard that has Ek Villain Returns written on it. “Villain Mode On! #EkVillainReturns shoot resumes @ektarkapoor #BhushanKumar @mohitsuri @shobha9168 @ruchikaakapoor @thejohnabraham @arjunkapoor @dishapatani @amulvmohan @balajimotionpictures @tseriesfilms @tseries.official #BalajiMotionPictures (sic),” Tara Sutaria wrote for the post.
Arjun Kapoor reacted to Tara Sutaria’s post. He wrote, “Aye villain (sic),” in the comment section.

Besides Ek Villain Returns, Tara Sutaria has Tadap, which marks the Bollywood debut of Suneil Shetty’s son Ahan Shetty. The film is the Hindi remake of the 2018 Telugu film RX 100, which was directed by Ajay Bhupathi. She will also be seen in Ahmed Khan’s Heropanti 2 with Tiger Shroff. The action film is the sequel of Tiger and Kriti Sanon’s 2014 film Heropanti.
