Lights, camera and action. Yes this is going to happen once again in Lucknow. Lucknow is all set to host the cast and crew of John Abraham and Divya Khosla Kumar starrer Satyameva Jayate 2, the shooting of which has commenced.
Divya Khosla Kumar was clicked at the Mumbai Airport as she jetted off to Lucknow with John Abraham. The singer-actress looked gorgeous in her yellow palazzo suit.
Director Milap Zaveri shared that even the action scenes will be shot on the streets of Lucknow. The director and John Abraham went through all the locations virtually. The team will continue shooting till January 2021.
Milap Zaveri, who is all praise for the Uttar Pradesh government, said, on day one the shoot will be with only the lead pair, but subsequently, other actors like Harsh Chhaya, Gautami Kapoor, Shaad Randhawa, Anup Soni, and Sahil Vaid will join.
Shooting will take place across Lucknow, including at heritage structures. Some of the live locations will be completely sealed off, so crowd gazers cannot sneak in. Zaveri shared that even the action scenes will be shot on the streets of Lucknow. The part two is expected to be bigger and better than the 2018 original.

The director confided that the roots of John’s character in the film are in Varanasi. The transition will give the film a pan-India feel, appealing even to the viewers in the interiors, he said.
Uttar Pradesh has been a hot favourite for film producers and actors too prefer the locations here. Before the lockdown was imposed Lucknow had seen several films being made in different locations and the state government had also promoted shooting of movies with the announcement of packages. The shoot is expected to pick up once again an fast and more units are expected to arrive soon in state.
