According to Pankaj Rai, Managing Director of Quality Austria, the AI era is transforming industries, redefining job roles, and setting new benchmarks for success. “By 2030, demand for technical, emotional, and social skills will rise, while the need for physical or manual labor will decline.” This global trend is driven by AI-powered production and service delivery. To bridge these gaps, Quality Austria is supporting MSMEs under the Quality Council of India’s Zero Effect Zero Defect (ZED) scheme, offering training, certification, and consulting. The initiative aims to enhance quality, promote sustainable manufacturing, and make Indian MSMEs globally competitive.
The company’s new initiative, “Online Influence Lab,” strengthens companies’ digital presence by connecting them with influencers and experts. Rai says, “Today, influence is digital—online presentation shapes global perception.” The lab integrates traditional quality practices with modern communication strategies.
Quality Austria’s programs cover quality management, occupational health and safety, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Total Quality Management (TQM), environmental management, cybersecurity, and carbon management. Each certification helps businesses adopt a structured approach, boost efficiency, and gain global credibility. Rai notes, “MSMEs are the backbone of India’s industrial ecosystem. By embracing quality frameworks and skill development, they can evolve from local players to international suppliers.”
Uttar Pradesh’s growing startup ecosystem is a positive sign. However, Rai emphasizes that survival in the market requires adherence to national and international standards. Quality Austria provides third-party audits, inspections, and certifications to build reliability and transparency—critical for long-term success in global markets.
With emerging industries, skilled labor, and improving infrastructure, Uttar Pradesh has the potential to become a hub for high-quality manufacturing. Investment in human capital is key.
