The screw is stuck in the contesting elections of abbas ansari, son of mafia kingpin and MLA mukhtar ansari, who is lodged in banda jail. abbas is being accused for giving the false information in the affidavit which is given at the time of nomination. these allegations are being investigated. if the alllegations are found to be true , then he may be barred from contesting elections.
Infact, mukhtar ansari who has been becoming an MLA from mau sadar for last five consecutive times, has decided not to constest in the elections this time. his son abbas ansari had been nominated in his place. abbas ansari is contesting on the ticket of om prakash rajbhar’s suheldev bharatiya samaj party .
he has contested the last election from ghosi on a BSP ticket but lost to fagu chauhan of BJP . abbas is an international level shooting player. because of the shooting he has licenses for many weapons.
Recently, when the screws were being tightened on mukhtar , questions were also raised on abbas ansari’s weapons , but when the investigation was done , the officials had said that abbas is a shooting player of international level.
now abbas is being accused for giving false information in the affidavit related to arms license. abbas ansari had informed that he has taken the arms license from new delhi. he has written that his arm license had been canceled by uttar pradesh police while the arms license was being canceled by delhi police , along with this an FIR is also being registered against abbas ansari in mahanagar police station of lucknow . STF is investigation this matter.
