Movie screening to start in Uttar Pradesh

Cinema lovers in Uttar Pradesh will get the chance to visit the big screen from Thursday, after a gap of six months but this liberty has come not without multiple riders, the main being only 50% capacity to be filled inside halls.

As per the standard operating procedure by the state government cinema halls will be filled only up to 50% of the sitting capacity. Sanitization is a must along with screening of audience before they enter the hall. Online ticket is being preferred and also at the counter social distance is a must. Seats where people are not supposed to sit will be marked with florescent colour or barricaded with tape.

Queues will also be avoided at the food joints hence packed food stuff will be promoted. Also instructions have been given to ensure no two shows break for interval at the same time. So if there are four halls on one floor the interval of each show should be at a different time to make sure audience loiter in the food court in less number.

At the halls too preparations have been done and hall staff has been instructed to ensure the SoPs are followed. The CCTV room will monitor each proceeding. At present there is no big release and also the pandemic has made people stay indoor hence the crowed is expected less. People may avoid family outing at malls for now but movie lovers are getting a change to experience the hall once again and they wont miss it out.

How the response comes will have to be seen from October 15, when unlock 5 comes in to effect.
