No one can predict how the political pitch will make the ball swing and a simple bowler may turn ferocious to face. In Madhya Pradesh the ball is swinging in an improbable manner at present.
The team BJP did the same they had done in the state of Karnataka and this reminds. When a bowler gets wicket on some particular ball swing it is tried again and the BJP did just the same and tried the same ball in Madhya Pradesh.
But not every batsman is the same. The Kamalnath government is stuck in the ‘operation Lotus’ but hasn’t given up yet.
Jyotiraditya Scindia, who had been in Congress for long joined BJP and the news break on Holi day brought a political stir in the country. A few who had been keeping watch were not surprised, but. The interesting part of the story was that Jyotiraditya Scindia selected the birth day of his father to resign and join the BJP.
Now he is a BJP soldier and has got a Rajya Sabha ticket for which he was upset with Kamalnath and Digvijay. He had been showing rebel face since a month and was ignored by Kamalnath. His anger was more upon Digvijay than Kamalnath.
Sources with the 10 janpath say Sonia had agreed to make him state party chief along with a Rajya Sabha ticket but his third condition was what made a road block. Scindia also demanded Digvijay should not be sent to the Rajya Sabha and from this point his ways parted with congress.
The news about MLAs resignations and they being taken to a isolated place is old now and does not require a debate. Such incidents have become a political custom where MLAs are taken in groups and are kept away from others. The question is what next? Kamalnath is saying all is fine and Digvijay is celebrating his grandson birthday.
Out of the 19 Congress MLAs who reached Karnataka 10 are at the farm house of Congress leader D Shiv kumar and BJPs 104 MLAs are at a resort in Gurugram. All the channels in the country are holding debate, will the Kamalnath government survive or not? and if so then what shall be the formula?
A straight maths will say Kamalnath government is in minority. But not all is straight in politics. Senior journalist from Chattisgarh Avesh Tiwari says, Scindia has joined BJP and this will change the scenario. He has asked MLAs to listen to their souls and said that if they come to BJP its better but if they don’t then also its fine and he wont be angry.
Avesh believes that now its time for resignation in BJP too and the Congress government will survive. But now the role of Digvijay will change and the party state chief shall also change. Scindia will become irrelevant for long irrespective of the party he stays with.
What Avesh has said may be different from common belief but has a strong basis. At present Jyotiraditya supporters are leaving Congress. The governor Lal ji Tandon is out of MP on holidays hence Kamalnath has a lot of time.
BJP MLAs going to other states has a clear signal that even BJP is not sure about its own MLAs staying with the party. The ten MLAs who have come back is another story. The statistics in the assembly is 105. BJP has 107 MLAs, and after 10 came back Kamalnath now has 104 MLAs. Its tough contest there in the number game.
In the Karnataka issue there was rift between Congress and the secular ruling hence damage could not be controlled. It will be better to let the camel sit than to assume which way the wind blows. Politics and cricket are both games where predictions don’t work till the last ball is completed.
