Film director Anurag Kashyap know for his straight talks and movies has made a statement. He has been popular for his support over the anti-CAA protests in the country. On Friday he made a statement on Twitter against the PM Narendra Modi government.
The film director in a Tweet that, “CAA/CAB are not going anywhere. It is possible for the government to back its decision. This government sees everything as matter of winning or loosing. Its ego can burn burn down everything to ashes but Modi can never go wrong.Why? Because that’s how an illiterate people are like.”
After his tweet many uses trolled on his post, where one of the user asked the filmmaker if he is suggesting any substitute of the CAA or is it a protest to include Muslims in it too. Another user asked if he is suggesting that everything will burn or will be burned by the people creating the ruckus.
Many users were also seen upset over the ‘illiterate’ remark.
Anurag Kashyap have also talked about the situation in the country before targeting the Modi government wrote ‘Enough of this we will not tolerate this now’.
In August last year, Anurag kashyap was forced to quit twitter after a tweet of him saying, ‘Thugs will rule in New India’. He started getting death threats to him and his family. “When your parents start to get call and your daughter gets online threats, you know that no one wants to talk. There isn’t going to be reason or rationale. Thug will rule and thuggery will be the new way of life. Congratulations everyone on this new India and hope you all thrive”.
Some other celebrities have also condemned the Citizenship Amendment Act including Farhan Akhtar, Dia Mirza, Javed Akhtar, Mahesh Bhatt and Alia Bhatt from the industry.
