New Delhi. In a significant meeting of the newly formed Ram Temple trust held in New Delhi Mahant Nritya Gopal Das became the president and Champat Rai the general secretary. Nripendra Mishra is the chairman of the building construction committee. Swami Govind Giri Ji Maharaj was chosen as the treasurer of the Trust. In th first meeting of the trust 9 resolutions were also passed.
The first meeting was held at the trust office in Greater Kailash in New Delhi. IN this meeting Mahant Nritya Gopals Das was declared the president. Trustees decided that model of the temple shall remain the same as was proposed. But its scale can be bigger and a date between Ram Navami and Akshay Trithia could mark the foundation laying ceremony.
Champat Rai a significant name in the Ram Temple campaign has been made trustee in the temple trust. Also two IAS additional chief secretary Awanish Awasthi and IAS Anuj Jha have been included in the trust.
Presidnet after first meeting said temple soon
After the first meeting of the temple trust got over the president Mahant Nritya Gopal Das while taking to media said emotions of the people will be respected and the temple shall be constructed soon. He said that the temple model shall remain the same but it can be made more magnificent and here changes made be made accordingly.
Date after 15 days
When the temple construction will start, a date is yet to be decided but as the trust members meet again after 15-days in Ayodhya a date is likely to be finalized.

K Parasaran, Mahat Nritya Gopal Das, Mahant Dinendra Das, Gyanesh Kumar, the joint secretary iin home department, Dr Anil Kumar Mishra, Champat Rai (VHP), Shankaracharya Vasudevanand Saraswati, Awanish Awasthi, Parmanand Ji Maharaj, Anuj Jha DM Ayodhya, Kameshwar Chaupal, chief of Pejawar Math Vishwaprasann Teerth Swami, Govind Giri from Pune, Vimelendra Mohan from Ayodhya Roya family.
Foundation laying may be on Ekadashi
The supreme court verdict on temple issue came on Dev Uthani Ekadashi day and trust announcement and its first meeting too was held on Ekadashi (February 19) hence it is supposed the temple foundation shall be done on March 4 as it is Ekadashi again that day. According to sources the Ramananda sect gives importance to Ekadashi.
During the meeting Vaishnav Vairagi Akhada’s Nirvani Adi Mahant and Hanuman Gadhi Ayodhya Mahant Dharamdas reached in for meeting without invitation. But they were stopped from attending the meeting.
It may be mentioned that Mahant Dharamdas is demanding inclusion in the trust and also that he be made the priest. According to the sources he has threatened to move court if his demands are not met. The trust members have assured him of a discussion after the meeting.
