Campaigning for Delhi assembly elections will conclude in a few hours from now but the heat is expected to stay on till polling gets over on February 8 evening. The campaigning by various parties has displayed attempts to lure voters, accusation on leaders and announcement of freebies in the elections manifesto.
The latest controversy came up with the government announcing setting up of Sri Ram Janmbhoomi Teertha Kshetra trust where parties are questioning over the timing of announcement of the trust. Shiv Sena commented over the timing of the announcement to formation of a trust for the construction of Ram temple. He stated that the real credit must go to the Supreme Court.
Uddhav Thakre is scheduled to visit Ayodhya on March 7. The announcement is being seen as an attempt to make impact upon voters in Delhi elections. About 1.46 crore voters are eligible for the Delhi elections.
Rahul Gandhi’s speech where the target was prime minister Narendra Modi has also added fuel to the fire in the Delhi elections. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi in one of the addressed said Ye jo Narendra Modi bhashan de raha hai, 6 mahine baad ye ghar se bahar nahi nikal payega.
