Kamala questions Trump’s leadership

Special Desk

In the run up to the US elections Kamala Harris the running mate of Democratic presidential nominee Jeo Biden has questioned the Trump leadership.

While running mates are expected to be pit bulls against the opposition, Harris meekly cited three things she didn’t like about President Donald Trump — “constant chaos,” “incompetence, and “callousness.”

Harris is not afraid to attack. She’s not afraid to be blunt. I can only guess that she’s trying to do her job as the campaign wants her to do it. But the campaign is clueless. And so the usually sharp Harris seemed so as well.

Also former president Barack Obama accused Donald Trump of treating the US presidency like “one more reality show”, in a withering speech to the Democratic convention. The former US president said his Republican successor “hasn’t grown into the job because he can’t”.

At the White House, Trump hit back that he was only elected because of the “horror” Obama left Americans. On the third night of the Democratic conference, Kamala Harris accepted the vice-presidential nomination.

The grand finale of the four-night convention will see Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden deliver a speech on Thursday.

The Biden-Harris ticket will challenge President Trump and his Vice-President Mike Pence for the White House in the election on 3 November.

On Wednesday night, Obama unleashed possibly his most scathing attack yet about Mr Trump, speaking live from the Museum of the American Revolution in Philadelphia. He said: “Mr Trump has shown no interest in putting in the work. No interest in finding common ground.
