Lucknow. SKD Academy celebrated the festival of Guru Purnima with great zeal and enthusiasm in all its branches. Students presented several cultural programmes to revere their parents and teachers. They presented their thoughts in the form of poems and speeches.
On this occasion, the director of SKD Group of Education, Mr Manish Singh addressed the teachers and students and said that life is meaningless without knowledge. Respect and devotion to our Gurus is the foundation of the society. He shed light on the importance of Gurus in our life by presenting the quotes of Maharshi Ved Vyas, the author of the Mahabharat. He emphasized that a great Guru’s aim is not just to impart educational knowledge to students, but also to empower them with the skills to excel in all facets of life and to foster their role as contributors to national development.
Deputy Director Mrs Nisha Singh also invoked the students to be grateful towards the teachers for instilling knowledge and culture in us. All the principals, teachers and students were present on this occasion.
