To check Corona virus spread in state focus is now upon rural areas. Hospital beds dedicated for corona virus patients are being reserved in the state both in government and private sectors.
In ten days 1937 samples have been tested in the state and cases were confirmed from 12 districts — Agra (9), Ghaziabad (3), Noida (17), Lucknow (8), Lakhimpur-Kheri (1), Pilibhit (2), Kanpur (1), Moradabad (1), Shamli (1), Jaunpur (1), Bagpat (1), and Varanasi (1).
Till now the only positive sign in 46 patients, is that 14 patients have been declared as recovered that includes Agra (7), Lucknow (1), Ghaziabad (2) and Noida (4).
Keeping in view the scenario which is getting troublesome every passing day the government has now asked for help from the private sector also and has arranged hospital beds from hospitals. target is 11000 beds in state some of which with ventilator support. IN Lucknow 248 beds have been managed and across state in thousand.
Isolation facility to shift towards rural pockets
The isolation facilities for rural patients have been developed at community health centres in rural areas. Preparations have been done in Mal and Malihabad CHCs in Lucknow with 30-beds each and more such facility will come up in metros across state. This to ensure patients from rural areas do not travel till district level hospitals.
Gram pradhans have been made calls from the chief minister helpline asking them to report any traveler coming to the village and till now 30000 gram pradhans have been reached via helpline. The cases that were reported in the past four days are from rural areas hence the focus has moved towards villages and gram pradhans have been asked to play a vital role. The big question is have the arrangements done on time or there was a delay.
On Friday the chief minister office interacted with 60000 gram panchayats about measures for coronavirus.
