Jubilee News Desk

The farmer organisations and workers support the call of Samyukt Kisan Morcha(SKM) & All India Kisan Sangharsh Coordination Commitee ( AIKSCC) to observe May 26th as black Day and called upon its units to actively organise protests throughout the country following Covid 19 protocol.

Disclosing this to press All India Kisan Sabha National General Secretary Atul Kumar Anjaan said that It was on May 26th, November 2019 when farmers reached the doors of Delhi for a decisive struggle against the three farm laws and electricity Amendment Bill, 2020 .

On the same day, the working class of India under the leadership of Central Trade Unions registered a historical strike against anti-worker labour codes. On 26th May, it will be six months of the glorious and historical struggle of the farmers which is full of sacrifices, marked by the death of more than 475 farmers.

Despite all the repressive and divisive tactics of the BJP led Central Government under prime Minister Modi the peasant movement is growing and firm for the victory of their demands.

May 26th is also the date when Narender Modi will complete his seven years in the office of the Prime Minister. As it was 26 May 2014 when he for the first time took oath as Prime Minister

These seven years is the dark period of working class , peasantry, ,unemployed youth, women and students in recent Indian history.

India has seen an inhuman pursuit of anti-people neoliberal policies against the interest of common people. Government in the office is nakedly working to maximize the profits of corporates.

India cannot forget the decisions of demonetization and implementation of GST which has seriously affected the economy and employment of the country.

It is the result of these policies which is failing India in the fight against the Corona pandemic. The government has completely failed to tackle the emergent situation of the second wave of the pandemic.

People are denied their Constitutional right to dignified life and death. Patients are dying in search of a bed, oxygen cylinder in many parts of the countey and essential medicines have become so dearer.

In the rural areas -villages in absence of urgent health facilities people are dying . Thousands of the bodies have been seen in different rivers floating in the water as ashaming the humanity in pandemic period.th .

The Samyukt Kisan Morcha & AIKSCC has given a call to observe black day on May 26th throughout India.
