Noted child specialist Dr Kafeel Khan, after being released from the jail, met Congress General Secretary Mrs Priyanka Gandhi on Monday. Mr Gandhi had called up Dr Kafeel Khan and his family after he was released from the jail and promised all possible help.
Dr Khan and his family met Mrs Priyanka Gandhi in Delhi
Dr Kafeel Khan along with his family met Congress General Secretary Mrs Priyanka Gandhi in New Delhi. Dr Kafeel was accompanied by his wife and children.
During the meeting in Delhi, UP Congress Committee president Mr Ajay Kumar Lallu and the chairman of the Congress Minority Cell Mr Shahnawaz Alam were also present.
Congress had campaigned for Dr Kafeel’s release
In Uttar Pradesh, the Congress party had launched a major campaign for the release of Dr Kafeel. The Congressmen had raised their voice all over the state for the release of Dr Kafeel Khan through signature campaigns, protests and writing letters.
