Disha rape case: Doctors from AIIMS conducted second autopsy of accused killed in police encounter

New Delhi: On Monday a team of experts from All India of Medical Sciences (IIMS), New Delhi looked into the second postmortem of the four accused in the Disha case at the State-run Gandhi Hospital in Hyderabad on Monday. A three member team of forensics conducted the autopsy on the bodies of four men accused in the Disha rape and murder case. The entire procedure has video recorded and the footage will b submitted to the Registrar General of the Telangana High Court.

The forensics team from AAIMS who conducted the autopsy were Dr Adarsh Kumar and Dr Abhishek Yadav while the team was assisted by Dr. Vrun Chandra.

The accused on 28 November allegedly gang-raped and murdered a women veterinarian. They were later killed in an encounter with the police while trying to escape on December 6.
