The Delhi election results have increased political happenings and discussions in Bihar state and the debate at present is whether the Delhi election will make an impact upon Bihar. If so then what impact. The discussions in political circles of Bihar has gone high.
Former deputy chief minister of Bihar Tajasvi Yadav had gone to visit his father at the RIMS and after meeting his father he interacted with the media. He appeared worried over his father’s health. Speaking to the media Tejasvi said the people in Bihar are happy over the Delhi election results and people in Bihar will give befitting reply to BJP in Biihar too.
The defeat in Delhi will have impact in Bihar too, after the Jharkhand elections. The voter in Bihar is upset with them. They voted for development but they are taking the country towards distruction. The politics should be of development. The people in Delhi have rejected those who tried to break the country and change constitution.
On the other hand the chief minister of Bihar Nitish Kumar speaking on the Delhi elections said people are the masters. JDU of Nitish Kumar had contested in Delhi polls along with LJP. On Tuesday during a function for unveiling the status of Deen Dayal Upadhaya he spoke to the media and when asked about the Delhi election results Nitish said people are masters and then left the venue.
It may be mentioned that Nitish Kumar heads the JDU and his party had contested at two assembly seats of Burari and Sangam Vihar and the candidates were far behind with a big margin. Nitish Kumar went to the rallies in Delhi with Amit Shah and JP Nadda and blamed Arvind Kejriwal for doing nothing for the Delhi state.
JDU had never been a big player in the national capital. But the BJP took help of smaller parties from Bihar. The alliance in Delhi had irked the JDU general secretary Pawan Verma and he had written letter to Nitish raising questions on the party’s effort for the Delhi election but he was thrown out of the party soon after the letter.
Similar thing happened with JDU’s former national vice president Prashant Kishore, whose organization had worked for Arvind Kejriwal on political strategies. Prashant, after being ousted from JDU had said he would open up his future strategies in Bihar.
In the last general elections the BJP had contested with JDU and LJP and registered extraordinary victory. In 2013 Nitish had broken up with the BJP and in 2015 elections NItish made a Mahagathbandhan and had given call for “Sangh Mukt Bharat.”
In 2015 assembly elections the Mahagathbandhan came with majority but in 2017 Nitish left RJD and the Congress and made the government with BJP in state.
