NEW DELHI. Preparations have been started to withdraw the 17 of the 54 cases filed against the farmers who have been protesting for 13 months on the delhi border against the three agricultural law made by narendra modi government at the centre.
delhi police had told in a report sent to lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal that there is no problem in withdrawing these 17 cases. After the study, the lieutenant Governor has sent this file to the delhi government for action.
In fact, after the withdrawal of the three agricultural laws, the farmers ended their movement. the return of the cases filed against farmers was also the condition among the conditions that the farmers had placed before the central government before ending the movement.
After the end of the farmer’s movement , the delhi police studied all the 54 cases registered aganist the farmers and made a separate file of 17 of them and sent it to the lieutenant governor on january 28,2022 with the intention that he did not mind to withdraw them.
the lieutenant governor had this file to the secretary of delhi on january 31 itself. On 16 february, this file has reached to the table of delhi home minister satyendar jain. he has to take the final decision in this regard.
