Uttar Pradesh could vaccinate 64.82% of the beneficiaries listed for covid vaccination in the round two on Friday. Of the total 155311 listed 100676 could be vaccinated at 1535 vaccination sessions conducted during the day.
According to the information shared by the state government Balrampur district remain on top position with 97.61% vaccination followed by Siddharthnagar at 95.61%, and Shrawasti 94.97%. Lucknow could vaccinate 57% of the total beneficiaries in the list. There were no major serious adverse event recorded in the state.
During the day Prime Minister interacted with the vaccinators and beneficiaries of covid vaccination in Varanasi. In Lucknow a total 8354 beneficiaries were to be vaccinated and in all 4833 were vaccinated.
