Uttar Pradesh has decided MLAs coming for the budget session beginning February 18, will get their covid test done before the session.
Despite fall in fresh covid cases almost every day now the assembly session is being given high priority and utmost care is being taken to keep infection at bay. Principal secretary UP assembly has issued a letter to all the MLAs.
The letter says all MLAs need to get their covid test done. For this the facility will be provided between February 14 and 17 at the assembly, in their respective districts and also at the assembly.
This will be fifth and last budget session of the present government that shall complete its term before the elections due in 2022.
The budget coming up before elections is likely to reflect plans of the state government keeping in view the assembly elections.
