CORONA OUTBREAK: Akhilesh raises question for deprived class

Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav has urged the state government to pay attention to the crisis before the daily wagers including labours, auto-drivers, rickshaw pullers and other such workers of the unorganized sector. He raised the issue after government announced steps to check coronavirus spread such as Janata Curfew.

Akhilesh said since food joints are closed till March 31 hence the daily wagers will face acute crisis of earning and living. The government should pay attention to these people so that they may not end up in to a crisis of survival.

Akhilesh said that when Yogi can present a historic budget he should not hesitate to support farmer and hapless. Due to untimely rains and hailstorm the crops have been damaged and farmers are also being troubled by the moneylenders. The government should pay attention to this immediately as such a situation provokes farmers to take extreme step.

He said that both centre and state have BJP government and with a double-engine if the people of the state face difficulty then it shall be injustice. The state should immediately plan free ration and health facility.

Speaking on the financial support of Rs 1000 for labours Akhilesh said that those working on brick kilns and in the unorganized sector as they too face difficulty in arranging food for their family in such a situation. Their families can not be left out.
