Noida SSP Vaibhav Krishna who suspended five IPS officers on charges of corruption after he wrote letter to the Yogi Adityanath government two months ago. While on the other hand questions have pointed by the opposition to resolve the matter. ADG level officer Jasvir Singh wrote a letter to the Chief Minister regarding the same.
Jasvir Singh is a 1992 batch IPS, who has requested the Chief Minister to grant the permission to suspend all five IPS officers mentioned in his two page letter written by SSP Vaibhav Krishna. Jasvir has requested for the suspension of all five officers charged with allegation of corruption. The letter dated 2nd January was sent to the Chief Secretary and Additional Chief (Home) Secretary of Uttar Pradesh. He later went to deliver the letter himself to the office of Chief Minister and DGP, but no one was ready to receive the letter. Along with this, Jasvir Singh has also sent a registered letter to the Kotwali Inspector of Gautam Budh Nagar Sector-20, requesting that after talking at the press conference on January 1, Noida SSP Vaibhav Krishna took cognizance of the five IPS officers whom he had mentioned corruption. In the this case, an FIR should be registered on the basis of the letter.
While talking to the press Jasvir Singh alleged that Vaibhav Krishna for taking bribes from five IPS officers for their transfer-posting and leaking information and calling a press conference. This comes under a cognizable act. In this a separate FIR has become mandatory under Section 54 of the Criminal Procedure Code for alleged corruption of IPS officers.
The Government officials are concerned about the letter and are discussing the matter with the Department of Justice. Currently DGP and Home Department officials have not given a comment on the matter. Jasvir Singh wants the Chief Minister to clean the smoke hovering above the IPS officers. Another IPS officer Amitabh Thakur has called a meeting in order to discuss the matter with the IPS Association. His wife has also been trying to take the matter to Lokayukta herself. Now, if the matter does is not cleared by the government it can become a problem.
On January 1, Vaibhav called a press conference and given names of the alleged IPS officers to journalist Udit Goel, Sushil Pandit and Chandan Rai , a copy of the five-page letter that he gave to DGP and Additional Chief Secretary Home to sent Aditya Yadav, Aditya Goyal, Sushil Pandey organizing gangs in the name of journalism.
Nitish Kumar from Lucknow was also investigated regarding the matter. From Chandan IPS Ajaypal Sharma, Sudhir Singh, Himanshu Kumar, Rajeev Narayan Mishra and IPS Ganosh Saha’s WhatsApp chats related to their transfer-postings were found during the investigation. Higher officials sitting in Lucknow were informed about the incident after which I became the target after chats of him talking to a women were used leaked on social media.
Vibhav Krishna has alleged that someone is trying to defame him on a personal level by creating doctored videos and other officers will also be exposed after the investigation is over. Vibhav gave a five page report to journalists in which name of Gautambuddha Nagar former SSP Ajay Pal Singh, present Ghaziabad SSP Sudhir Kumar Singh, SSP Gadesh Singh of Bandha, former Krishinagar SSP Krishi Narayan Mishra and Sultanpr SSP Himanshu Kumar were present. All the officers in the letter were charged with allegation of corruption.
According to a report, the CDR of Ajaypal Sharma’s phone had record of him talking to the alleged officer Chandan Rai is being assured that his posting for Meerut has been confirmed. The government has alleged Vibhav Krishna of violating the service rules by handing out the five-page letter to the Journalists to which the DGP had requested the state to investigate the matter. Meanwhile, Jasvir Singh wrote a letter to the government seeking an intervention has created a new stir.
