The significant thing was joining of Bhim Army by former BSP district president ram lakhan Chaurasia along with Ijhar-ul-haq and Ashok Kumar Chaudhary. On the occasion Chandrashekhar said he is strengthening his organization. Several other bsp leaders are in touch with him particularly from the west UP.

That the Bhim Army that emerged from the Dalit Andaolan in west UP will be contesting elections might bring worry for the BSP chief Mayawati. It is assumed that if Chandrashekhar rises the direct impact will be upon Mayawati’s vote bank.

The manner in which Chandrashekhar, a native of west UP, has campaigned in Delhi it has brought worry on the faces of BSP leaders. Mayawati took a quick decision on this and said the Dalit protest as against the principles laid down by Bahasaheb. In a recent meeting Mayawati also indicated that leaders who are in contact with BHim Army will be ousted from her party.

Chandrashekher came to Lucknow on Sunday and wanted to join the anti-CAA protest at the Ghantaghar and wanted to go to the house of Lucknow districts president Ankit Dhanuk but was stopped by the police. he said he was working for the welfare of SC/ST. he also said that Bhim Army will play a role in the anti-CAA and NRC protests across country.
