On Saturday a case against Bollywood actress Raveena Tondon, director-choreographer Farah Khan and comedian Bharti Singh for hurting religious sentiments of the Christians community during a TV show.
The All India Christian Welfare Front president Charan Masih along with other demonstrators filed a complaint on Friday under Section 295-A (deliberate and malicious acts, intended to outrage religious feeling of any class by insulting its religion or religious beliefs) of the Indian penal Code at the Rupnagar city police station.
Farah khan and Raveena Tondon had recently met cardinal Oswald Gracias of the Roman Catholic Church and apologized after which Farah wrote a Twitter that her apologies has been accepted.
“I’m extremely saddened that some sentiments have been inadvertently hurt by a recent episode of my show. I respect al religions, and it would never be my intention to disrespect any. On behalf of the entire team, Raveena Tondon, Bharti Singh and Myself.. we do sincerely apologies,” she wrote.

However, the Christian community has been deeply saddened by the by the actions of Raveena, Farah and Bharti and are deeply hurt by their actions.
