New Delhi: Heavy security have been deployed in Delhi’s UP Bhawan of Jamia Milia Islamia where protesters are planning to protest against the Yogi Adityanath government at 3 pm on Friday. There have been a total of 23 deaths amid the anti-Citizenship Amendment Act protests in in Uttar Pradesh. Paramilitary forces have been deployed in Delhi’s northern Seelampur and Jaffrabad areas.
Along with the Paramilitary forces the state police have been deployed along with drone cameras to secure the areas on Friday, Gorakhpur’s district magistrate Vijendra Pandiyan said. The Uttar Pradesh government have been gaining momentum to recover the damaged property after notices were severed to at least 372 people in different districts.
At 2:08 pm : People where gathered outside the iconic Jamia Masjid amid the cold weather where Congress leader Alka Lamba and former Delhi MLA Shoaib Iqbal joined the demonstration. Lamba hit out at the BJP government sating “unemployment is the real issue in the country, but you (PM) are trying to put in a queue for NRC, as it was done during demonstration”.
