With little time left for the first phase Bihar polls campaigning and opinion both are at their peak. Though different parties are claiming they will get the power but who will make the government will be out soon.

The Lokniti-CSDS opinion poll has suggested Nitish Kumar’s return to power. According to the opinion poll Nitish Kumar may get majority to hold the power in the state. But the same survey also revealed a big section of voter who are yet to decide which party they will vote for. Therefore the results could actually surprise. The Lokniti-CSDS survey has included 148 booths spread in 37 seats.

The latest development is about the job promises. Opposition leader Tejashwi Yadav’s promise of 10 lakh jobs and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s sharp response to it has fuelled an bitter back-and-forth in the campaign for the Bihar election.

In another opinion polls the NDA is likely to make the government. The Lokniti-CSDS survey suggests Nitish Kumar shall lead with NDS with seats between 133-143 approximately.

The Mahagathbandhan seems to be settled with 100 seats in the opinion. The RJD led coalition is estimated to get 88-98 seats. The estimates for the LJP isn’t very high or motivating. It appears as if getting away from the NDA will have hard time for the LJP as the survey seems to give less then 10-seats.

In the survey in all 3731 voters were interacted with and it was done between October 10 to 17. It included 60% women and 40% men. According to the survey 38% people have showed confidence upon NDA government while 32% want the government in leadership of RJD. They want Tajaswi to lead the government. In all 6% people want Chirag Paswan to come to power.

In all 29% people said development is the key issue to vote upon, 20% think unemployment will decide their votes, 11% had dearness as the issue, 6% poverty, and 7% said education is the key issue.

In Bihar polls are due on October 28, November 3 and 7 for 237 seats. This will decide the next government.
