Beef up law and order situation; people are disturbed: Priyanka Gandhi

Expressing concern over the alarming law and order situation in UP, AICC General Secretary Mrs Priyanka Gandhi on Tuesday dashed off a letter to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

In the letter, Mrs Priyanka Gandhi has stated that as the Chief Minister, you (Yogi Adityanath) must be knowing about the incidents of Kanpur, Gonda and Gorakhpur. I would like to draw your attention to the pain of a Ghaziabad family, to whom I have spoken.

In the letter, Mrs Priyanka Gandhi has stated that Ghaziabad trader Vikram Tyagi has been missing for nearly a month. The family fears that he has been kidnapped. Despite repeated pleas, nothing concrete is being done by the police and the district administration.

Two days back, a delegation of our party met his family. They were very upset. In the letter, she has requested the Chief Minister to help the family and also asked him to instruct the police to extend all support to the family.

In the letter, Mrs Priyanka Gandhi has asked Yogi Adityanath to beef up the state’s law and order apparatus as people are disturbed.
