Lucknow: Inclement weather leading to poor visibility has extended trouble for the train passengers as the railways has extended the period of cancellation for about 30 trains while trips of 24 others have been reduced. This could actually trouble passengers till February end as the number of seats available on the routes will be less.
Fog has compelled the railways to extend cancellation period till February end and this will impact passengers under Varanasi, Lucknow, and Ijjatnagar divisions on the eastern railways. Routes of three trains have been diverted, Chief spokesperson Pankaj Singh said the decision is based upon difficulties in operations.
Trains that have been cancelled are:
