Average age of those died of coronavirus is 73, none among them are Indian

China is struggling hard against the coronavirus as this virus has turned fatal for 25 people and has till now effected 835. The virus after China is spreading in Hongkong, Macau, Taiwan rapidly. In Hongkong 5 people have been infected with it.

The Chinese officials announced to stop public transport in Huanggang, Ezhou, Zhijiang, Qianjiang and Wuhan in Hubei province. China also plans to make a new hospital specially to deal with patients of this virus in six days.

It may be mentioned that the city of 11 million people Wuhan is the place from where the virus is believed to have first emerged. Now there are no flights or trains going in or out of Wuhan. The coronavirus victims’ average age was 73, with the oldest 89 and the youngest 48.

India too is on alert for the coronavirus. The city has about 700 Indian students, majority of them studying medicine. According to the Indian embassy there are 20 students from Kerala and five others stuck in Wuhan. Chief minister of Kerala Pinarayi Vijayan wrote to foreign minister S Jaishankar and asked for help to the students stuck there who are facing trouble.

As concerns grew the Indian Embassy on Thursday opened helplines +8618612083629 and+8618612083617 and established contacts with the concerned Chinese officials to ensure food and other supplies for those students who are in the city.

Another news that came was the nurse from Kerala who was working in Saudi Arab is not suffering with coronavirus. Earlier it was stated that the nurse was suffering with coronavirus but the celrification came after two representatives visited the hospital where the nurse was.

A special hospital is being made in Wuhan to treat people suffering with coronavirus and is being built in 6 acres of land. According to the reports coming in China has instructed the construction company for this. The design will be ready by Friday. More information on this will come up soon.

Health authorities in Wuhan said that number of patients is increasing and hence the number of beds available in the existing hospital is going down. Prior to this coronavirus had troubled in 2003 in China but this time the threat is 10 times more.
