After a fresh case of coronavirus came on Tuesday morning from Shamli taking the total number of cases to 34 in state the district Shamli too was also put under lockdown. People have been advised not to come out of their places and stay indoor for maximum period.
Keeping in view the rising number of coronavirus cases in the state the chief minister pointed that if required curfew may be imposed. The lockdown has been extended till March 27 in all districts.
Streets have a deserted look
There is no one except a few cops and those in essential services moving on the roads that virtually have a deserted look now.
Saharanpur on high alert
The district administration has stepped up measures after 33-year-old man tested positive for coronavirus in Shamli district. Entire Saharanpur division has been put on alert. The man had returned from Dubai in the second week of March.
In Kanpur police took stern action
In Kanpur police took stern action during lockdown. IN all 95 FIRs were registered in the district and 465 were arrested for not following the protocol during lockdown.
