NEW DELHI. The hover threat of war looming over ukraine, to rescue indian stranded in ukraine , air india has decided to fly three flights in this month. these flights to be held on 22, 24 and 26 Februray and have been named ‘ VANDE BHARAT MISSION’.
There are 20 thousand indian living in ukraine , out of which 18 thousand are students who are pursing medical, nursing and dental courses. to bring these indians safely back to india , the indain government have stopped all the flights to ukraine . air india will fly a special flight to ukraine’s largest international airport barispil on februray 22, 24 and 26 to bring indians .
Prices of the ticket to ukraine have been tripled since the war clouded ukraine. the problem indian students in ukraine have to face is how to buy tickets for three times the price. the indian ambassy have assured indian students not to panic. every effort will be made to take them to india safely. the indian ambassy have told the students that apart from air india , talks were also going on with ukrainian airlines to take them to india. the indian ambassy had also adviced indian to leave ukraine permanently.
