A ‘movies’ packed March

March will bring a fleet of movies to theatres as new releases released in the coming weeks and the start shall be done with ‘Roohi.’ The film stars Janhvi Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao and Varun Sharma in lead roles. Following Roohi will be ‘time to dance.’
Some movies are releasing on digital platforms only. Roohi is one of the first movies to arrive in theatres after the cinema halls across the country were allowed to operate at full capacity from 1 February with adherence to COVID-19 safety protocols.
‘We hope Roohi rekindles the audience’s long-standing romance with the silver screen,’ said producer Dinesh Vijan in a statement.
Horror comedy Roohi, starring Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor, is set to have a theatrical release. Directed by Hardik Mehta, Roohi is releasing on March 11.
The film comes from the makers of Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao’s smashing hit horror-comedy Stree, which released in 2018
Time to Dance is a dance film directed by Stanley D’Costa. Produced by Lizelle D’Souza it features Sooraj Pancholi, Isabelle Kaif and Waluscha De Sousa as leads. The film is scheduled for release coming week.
In the list is yet another aspect of life which the cinema makers will show in the movie ‘Fauji Calling.’ A soldier sacrifices his life during an attack.
His family struggles following the attack which they’ve to face along with getting over their loss. Fauji Calling is an action drama film written and directed by Aaryaan Saxena and produced by Vikram Singh and Ovez Shaikh under the banners of Running Horses Films and Ovez Productions.
The film bankrolled by Jimmy Satish Asija, has ensemble which includes Sharman Joshi, Ranjha Vikram Singh, Bidita Bag, Mahi Soni, Mugdha Godse, Zarina Wahab, and Shishir Sharma.
The film showcases the story of a soldier who sacrifices his life in an attack. Inspired by aftermath of 2019 Pulwama attack, it also explores the various aspects of the life of soldiers and the struggle of their families.
Last in the list of new releases in March is ‘D Company.’ Ram Gopal Varma’s crime-drama releases in theatres on March 26.
Ram Gopal Varma continues his obsession with the underworld in his upcoming film, D Company.  The movie is written and directed by Ram Gopal Varma. Back in 2002, Ram Gopal Varma made a film titled Company, which explored the world of mafia.
Cut to 2021, he continues his obsession with the underworld, presenting a similar story in his upcoming film. He shared the trailer of D Company. Interestingly, the title of the film is a combination of Company and Varma’s another directorial, D. So, does that mean D Company presents the best of both the worlds? Let’s see that in cinemas.
