Meerut. A nationwide campaign has been launched by Department of Financial Services for the saturation of Financial Inclusion (FI) Schemes at the Gram Panchayat (GP) and Urban Local Body (ULB) for three months from 01st July 2025 to 30th September 2025.
Opening of bank accounts for unbanked adults under PMJDY; increasing enrolments under PMJJBY, PMSBY, APY; Awareness sessions on digital fraud prevention, among others key goals of the campaign.
Union Bank of India organized a Financial Inclusion Saturation Camp at Amehra Adipur Grampanchayat, Meerut District in the State of Uttar Pradesh.
The event was inaugurated by Shri S Ramasubramanian, Executive Director of the Bank in the presence of Ms. Archana Shukla, Zonal Head, Zonal Office, Meerut. Large number of customers participated in the drive.
During the event, Shri S Ramasubramanian emphasized on the importance and objectives of the Mega Jana Suraksha Saturation Drive. He also shared valuable insights on cyber fraud awareness and key government schemes such as PMJDY, PMSBY, PMJJBY, and APY.
Ms. Archana Shukla highlighted the role of financial empowerment through social security schemes, encouraging greater public participation. Various exhibition stalls were set up to promote awareness and understanding of various financial products and services.
