Punjab Kings joins hands with Kshema General Insurance for IPL 2025

Punjab Kings welcomes Kshema as the “Official General Insurance Partner”

Mumbai. The Indian Premier League franchise Punjab Kings today announced Kshema General Insurance, a fully digital insurance provider, as the “Official General Insurance Partner” for the upcoming edition of the marquee T20 league. The partnership aims to reconnect the IPL franchise with its roots and reignite the passion of its fans across India.

Kshema, which designs pioneering insurance solutions to build financial resilience, is foraying into cricket with this association with Punjab Kings. Kshema has developed its proprietary technology platform to assess, model, and price insurance risks adequately by deploying cutting-edge AI-based algorithms, machine learning, big data and location awareness.

As part of the partnership, the Kshema logo will feature prominently on the playing and practice kits of the Punjab Kings team. An exclusive digital IP – Kshema Secure Hands – will be created to engage with fans and create awareness about Kshema’s industry-first insurance products. This IP will highlight the best fielding effort (catch taken, run saved, run out or stumping effected) of Punjab players in every match through the IPL 2025 season, reflecting Kshema’s ethos of trust, reliability, and protection.

Speaking about the partnership, Bhaskar Thakur, CMO, Kshema General Insurance Limited said, “We are excited to partner with Punjab Kings as they embark on their journey for the new season. Punjab Kings have always been connected to their roots and have brought joy to their legion of fans with their exciting brand of cricket. It was a natural fit for us as we, too, strive for customer welfare with our industry-first insurance products. This association allows us to reach cricketing fans across the country and create awareness about insurance. I wish the team the best for the new season.”

Punjab Kings CEO Satish Menon added, “We are delighted to partner with Kshema General Insurance this season. This collaboration will create meaningful opportunities that benefit both brands and drive mutual growth.”

Kshema will also launch a 360-degree integrated marketing campaign to create buzz about this partnership by focusing on the exclusive IP “Kshema Secure Hands” to build an emotional connect with fans from different parts of India.

With a fresh squad under the leadership of Head Coach Ricky Ponting and captain Shreyas Iyer, Punjab Kings are set to enter IPL 2025 with a renewed vision of lifting the trophy.
