Old age and orthopaedic disease : how to protect

We all know that the bones of the body are made up of numerous protein fibers and calcium is deposited on it with the help of vitamin D. This process goes on continuously and gives strength to our bones.

In the latter part of life, as we age, the fibers of these proteins start thinning and their quantity also starts decreasing, due to which the pain of bones and joints also starts increasing.

Osteoporosis occurs due to low bone density, or rather, the bone starts to become hollow. In which even a minor injury increases the risk of fracture of the shoulder, wrist, hip bones.

This condition starts after menopause in women and after 50 years in men.

we will talk in detail on the problem of bone in old age and its control, as well as tell what is bone density test, why and when it becomes necessary to do it.
