Security forces take out local militant in Kashmir’s Awantipora

A local militant was killed in the early hours of Tuesday morning in an encounter by the Security forces in Awantipora, Kashmir tried to take him into custody.

During a cordon and search operation by the security forces  after they asked the militant to surrender. The operation was carried out after the security forces received a tip-off about the militants hideout in Churswoo villange in Awanatipora. He has identified as Shahid, a resident of Bijhera of Anantnag district, the police said,

The militant fired at the security forces in order to flee after they asked him to surrender but died in during the gunbattle.
