Aditya Thakeray has was expected to take part in a anti-CA, NRC protest in Maharashtra on Sunday after a picture of an invitation card went viral on social media while there has been no hard bound confirmation around the stigma.
After his stand on CAA saying that the Indian government was making Hindus living in neighboring countries feel insecure. “States like Assam, Tripura and Delhi are burning. I feel BJP has made a policy to divert attention.”
“There is no confirmation by Aditya Thackeray to attend the event organized by CAA, NRC Virodi Chhatra Parishad,” Shiv Sena stated in a fresh tweet. After his stand on CAA saying that the Indian government was making Hindus living in neighboring countries feel insecure. “States like Assam, Tripura and Delhi are burning. While one the organizers of the event said, “We had reached out to Aaditya Thakeray about 10 days before the event and were told he would come if available. We wanted to involve all parties of the Maha Vikas Aghadi. However, late last evening we were informed that no representation will be made by the Shiv Sena, as Aditya Thakeray was busy with regular programmes. We have removed his name from the poster and news releases.”
According to the name that were written on the Invitation card he was suppose to join the event alongside veteran lyricist Javed Akhtar, Activist Umar Kahlid, Rama Naga, Rohit Pawar and others at the event in Mumbai.
