Maya asks Priyanka to stop political drama

Political parties have started to blame each other for the deaths of infants in Kota’s J K Lone Hospital in Rajasthan. After BJP, BSP has blamed the CM of Rajasthan Aashok Gehlot and Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi. In last one month, more than 100 infants died along with some new born babies.

Until last, Friday the hospital has recorded 77 deaths which exceeded in just two days.

BSP leader Mayawati lashing out at the Congress government in Kota said,” It is very sad that the Congress general Secretary is keeping mum on the deaths of 100 children’s in the Kota hospital. It would have been better if like Uttar Pradesh, she would have met the mothers of the children who have died in hospital, due to the apathy of the government of her party in the state.”

In the Kota district of  the Congress-ruled Rajasthan, the loss of 100 children for their mothers is extremely sad and painful. But Rajasthan Chief Minister Gehlot is still adopting an apathetic, insensitive and irresponsible attitude towards it which is highly commendable.”

Apart from this he said, ‘If the Congress National General Secretary does not go to the hospital in Kota, Rajasthan and meet the mothers of the deceased children, then in any case it was only her political drama to meet the families of the victims in UP. This is a political stunt and the people of UP should not fall prey to this’.

Health Minister talks to Vasundra government

This came two days after a committer was formed by the state government who gave a green signal to the hospital of have ‘no lapses’ in the death of children, saying that the right treatment was given.

A team of National Commission for Protection of Children Rights visited the hospital after which its chairperson Priyanka Kanoogo issued a show cause notice to the Medical Education Department of the hospital after finding broken gates, windows and pig roaming inside the premises.

The Rajasthan Health Minister Raghu Sharma has targeted the Vasundhara government for the deaths of children in the hospital saying that during 2012 and 13, Rs.60 crore was sanctioned by then Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot for this hospital in Kota, which was not transferred by the BJP government.

The hospital administration of Kota used to demand money every year but the BJP government did not give money. He said that the then BJP MLA’s Prahlad Gunjal, Om Birla and Bhawani Singh Rajawat kept demanding money for this hospital. But the BJP government did not pay a single penny.  All these things are on record.
