Anita-Shakti together after 30-years

It’s after 30-years that Anita Raj and Shakti Kapoor will work together in a movie. After Virodhi (1992), Anita Raj is back with Shakti Kapoor for another Bollywood movie.

Anita who is presently seen on the small screen in Choti Sarrdaarni, posted a photograph with Shakti Kapoor from their upcoming Bollywood film’s set and wrote in the post, “Look who I’m shooting with after 30 years. Friends like family.” The two are shooting in Lucknow.

Shakti Kapoor’s son-actor Siddhanth Kapoor was all hearts on the post. Celebrity trainer Yasmin Karachiwala commented, “You are looking so good.” Fitness fanatic Raj regularly works out at a Bandra club. She trains like a beast. She’s 58, but could pass off as a 30-year-old.

Lucknow has now become hub for movie production with film-makers admiring the locations and the friendly atmosphere in and around Lucknow.

Not just Hindi but a series of Bhojpuri Movies has also been set in shooting locations in Lucknow and around the state capital. Increasingly the roadside dhabas too are being used for shooting where song sequences and action scenes are being recorded.
