Pope Francis addresses mass says, the lord continues to love us all

Pope Francis on Wednesday addressing the gathering in the St. Peters Bascilla at the Vatican saying, “You may have mistaken ideas, you may have made a complete mess of things.. but the Lord continues to love us all, even the worst of us”.

People have referenced it to Cardinal George Pell who was convicted of abusing two choir boys in Melbourne, Australia in 1996. He was Australia’s highest rankling Catholic, and was previously Vatican treasurer and was the Churches third most powerful official.

After the incident, the Pope removed the Vatican’s definition of child pornography increasing the subject from 14 or under to 18 or under.

Christmas reminds us that God continues to love us all, even the worst of us. To me, to you, to each of us, he said to day at the mass. “I love you and I will always love you, for are precious in my eyes,” the 83 year old pontiff said.
“Whatever goes wrong in our lives, whatever doesn’t work in the Church, whatever problems there are in the world, will no longer serve as an excuse.”

Whereas thousands of people from around the wold reached the biblical town of Bethlehem on Wednesday, a religious place that has an important meaning for Christians, marking the birth of Jesus Christ near the Israel occupied west bank to celebrate Christmas.
